Childrens Residential Deputy Manager

We are looking to recruit an experienced Deputy Manager to work in Huyton, Merseyside. The role is paying 35k per annum and to start as soon as possible. You will be required to work a minimum of 37.5 hours per week including some evenings, nights and weekends on a rota basis. Responsibilities The role will be assisting the Registered Manager in the day to day management and development of the home, and take a lead role in operational areas of the service, deputising for the Manager in their absence. You will also need a strong grounding in understanding the needs of young people. This role is one that requires a high level of organisational and administrative skill along with an ability to lead and manage a team of residential staff. Requirements: -Minimum of three years Residential Childcare experience of which at least one must be in a supervisory role. - Qualifications required are Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young People. - Diploma (or working towards). Level 5 Managers Award would be an advantage, and any relevant professional management qualifications
